Preparing for Rosh Hashana: Mindfulness
Mindfulness practice, with slow breathing practice and visualisation were tools used in treating people with anxiety and panic attacks. It is a useful tool for managing the stress of daily life, something familiar to us all in the time of corona. Mindfulness, or focusing on the present, dispensing with distractions, is also an accompaniment to our experience over the High Holidays as we ponder life’s journey and meaning, and ways to improve our lives and our relationship to Hashem
